Formed over 25 years ago, Pentlow Electronics Consultancy initially provided specialist electronic design services to large information vendors. Their need to efficiently route ‘real time’ data into financial institutions was paramount and new ground-breaking solutions were required to meet the demands of their industry. Many leading finance institutions including, The London Stock Exchange, Dow Jones Telerate and HM Treasury relied upon our technical expertise and high quality electronic solutions.
Our knowledge and experience
Over the years, we’ve built a sound client base across many different markets including Financial, Scientific, Industrial, Audio & Communications and as a result we have gained knowledge and insight of these markets and their requirements. We recently provided South West Trains with a new control system allowing heritage train doors to be locked within their older passenger carriages.
More recently we have focused our skills within industrial and domestic control applications and this has led to many new clients. Typical products include diver communications, controllers for temperature & level control of corrosive fluids, advanced level gauge measurement for CO2 cylinders and ultrasonic thickness gauges for measuring steel thickness on ship’s hulls.
Working closely in this sector also enables us to share ideas and proven technology from one project into another. On many occasions we create modules of technology that can be deployed easily into new products. The result is a more cost effective solution and also helps the client to get their product to market more efficiently.
