The Problem
Legacy dive panels used to provide low pressure feeds via umbilical cords often do not have an alerting alarm on input or output pressurised hoses. SMS requested a robust and simple system was to enable the different systems to be updated.
The solution
We spoke to the company experts and viewed the systems in use. Suitable pressure sensors were identified and qualified, and a 12V external power supply decided upon. The system can be configured with up to 3 sensors and used in the supplied enclosure or panel mounted.
Outcomes/Benefits
Legacy systems are be updated to comply with recent regulation and provide a higher level of safety to the commercial divers.
